I am currently exploring the use of film and soundscapes in juxtaposition. 2320 relays a dystopian landscape in a district of Vienna, dominated by the oil company, OMV. The company’s relentless worshipping of oil and gas is sleepily explored in the film, the sci-fi soundscape punctuating our journey. We conclude with a dive underground, OMV having the deepest land drill in Europe.
The music was composed with a combination of transposed EMF, and bass guitar and pedals live improvisation.
